Ennistymon Vocational School has a proud tradition of generosity and volunteerism. This is especially noticeable at the annual concert which is promoted by the many students who share their time and talents.
The fundraising efforts of the young choristers and musicians culminates in a generous donation to the Friends of Ennistymon Hospital.
Each year at Christmastime students attend at the hospital to entertain the residents with their music, song and dance thus strengthening the connection and bonds between the generations.
It is a source of pride and delight to see students from all year groups united in a common interest and they are planning enthusiastically for their next concert.
The students from EVS have impressed audiences with their professional and engaging performances and have been among an elite group of invited guests at the University of Limerick lunchtime recitals.
The student choir and band is encouraged and supported by the principal and staff of the school.
